While Minecraft Bedrock is specifically designed to make sure the game runs as smoothly as it can on your device, sometimes things can feel a little odd, especially if you’re used to playing Minecraft Java.

Here are a few tips we recommend to help improve your SoulSteel experience.

Turn on Improved Input Response

Of all the settings we’re going to cover, this is perhaps the most important.

Found lurking at the bottom of the Video tab, this setting smooths out your inputs, making it feel as if you’re playing Java Minecraft again.

This is also helpful for console players, giving greater control over your movements.

Turn Off Screen Animations

Turning these off will make your experience look and feel nicer and more in line with Java. You’ll thank us later.

Lower your Render Distance to 30 or lower

If you’re on a high-powered gaming PC, Minecraft sometimes sets your default Render Distance very high. SoulSteel doesn’t need a high Render Distance for you to experience its Dungeons, so save your device the hassle.
